Graduate Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical: Los Angeles Office/ Irvine Office
This position is for the recent engineering graduate and represents your first permanent technical position. During this time, you will primarily be gaining experience in practical engineering skills in the office or at a project site. You will work directly under a project engineer. Best of all, with a large, established firm such as Glumac, you'll be able to make a tangible contribution to "real world" designs as you see projects you've worked on go from the CAD screen through construction and initial occupancy. At this point in your career, you'll have a bachelor's degree, have passed the EIT or FE exam, and have up to two years of technical experience (including summer internships). We prefer you to be experienced with AutoCAD 2008 and knowledge of Revit MEP would be very beneficial.
