Glumac is an innovative, sustainable engineering firm with eight offices on the West coast. We specialize in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Energy Modeling, Lighting, and Commissioning and Building Services. The vast majority of our projects are Sustainable in design and are LEED certified. We have a wide mix of the types of projects that encompass commercial office buildings, mixed use, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, municipalities, data centers, and institutional design.
We are looking for individuals that not only enjoy communicating, but also have collaborative communication skills and are at ease marketing Glumac’s services. Required qualifications include:
- Leadership – Will need to lead a team of engineering in executing all phases of design and construction for small, medium and large projects.
- Client Interface – Must be able to meet with high-level clients including design architects, owners, developers and facility managers.
- Innovation – Must be able to develop, present and incorporate sustainable design concepts into our client’s projects.
- Marketing – Must be able to win and manage $1million - $2million of professional services annually.
The right individuals will be high energy, confident, high achievers, resourceful, creative, and passionate in their professional goals. Some additional preferred qualifications include:
- Construction Costs – Has the ability to understand construction costs and provide estimates during conceptual design.
- Speaking Engagements – Should be able to secure speaking engagements and present at seminars, conferences, etc.
- Energy Modeling – Be able to understand complex energy models and utilize the information to recommend appropriate design solutions.
- Inter-Discipline Coordination – Should have basic knowledge of electrical, lighting and plumbing systems and be able to coordinate the work.
