There was never really a choice relative to becoming an engineer. Growing up as one of five sons to a mechanic, I started early taking things apart, figuring out how they work and putting them back together. Engineering was a natural, and electrical was the most intriguing. I was fortunate as a young engineer to work for a small utility and gain incredible experience in power generation, including hydroelectric, gas turbine, photovoltaic, geothermal, and nuclear. I enjoy being part of the solution to a challenging problem and feeling the sense of accomplishment. I grew up in a family with strong family values. My strongest passion is family, family, and family; my immediate family, my extended family and friends, and my family of coworkers at Glumac. My wife and I are lucky to share our lives with twin eleven year old daughters. They are the delight as well as the bane of our existence.
