Silicon Valley Office: Electrical Systems Commissioning Agent

Role:
To orchestrate, facilitate and perform all the electrical commissioning processes/testing required for Data Center projects. This position is responsible to ensure that equipment and systems are functioning at the efficiency level for which they were designed. This entails scheduling site observations visits and testings at various times throughout the construction cycle. It is also critical that this person has the skills to create and maintain positive professional relationships with all disciplines involved in the construction or renovation, of the project.

Professional Skills and Responsibilities:

Technical knowledge of Data Center electrical power systems.
Strong field/operational background with electrical systems for Data Centers. Emergency Generators, UPS’s, ATS’s. ASTS’s, PDU’s, Main Switch Gear, EPMS, GPS, Battery Monitoring, Load Banks, PV and Lighting Controls.
Ability to write and perform Levels 3 through 5 for Data Center electrical systems, review submittals and write the Final Cx Report and System Manual.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
Good organizational skills
Time management skills
Patient and a good sense of humor
LEED accreditation is a plus

This position will require travel as Glumac expands operations geographically.
