| Portland Brewery Blocks Projects Receives 2004 ARC Award from CSE Magazine |
Glumac™s Brewery Blocks project received the 2004 ARC Award from Consulting Specifying Engineer Magazine. The award celebrates an outstanding achievement in M/E/P design that advances, cultivates and reinvigorates the field of engineering. Two unique and significant features help this project merit the honor.
First, the buildings in this large-scale project are all registered with the U.S. Green Building Council for some level of LEED® certification, which is rare for any speculative mixed-used development. Second, an important goal of the project was to integrate the new buildings with the existing historic structures in order to preserve the historic and cultural sense of place.
