To provide easier access to search and find documents within Glumac's Intranet, we are utilizing an in-house search engine. This allows quick access to our corporate database of 26,011 files, 2,593 folders and 19.59 GB of combined electronic data from each of Glumac's offices.

Our search engine utilizes the crawl, mine and search technology developed by Google. This technology, the Google Mini, is an Enterprise level hardware and software solution that provides up-to-the-minute access to file information across the existing network. The Mini's crawler indexes all information within the file and folder name and contents, allowing instant search results based on keywords located within the file and filename. The results are presented in the typical Google search result format, allowing additional sorting by application type, date, relevance, etc., providing employees with instant access to a wealth of information.
