Critical Facilities Services

Airflow & Energy Modeling

Many of our clients need help with eliminating thermal mixing and hot spots in their existing critical facilities. Most data centers are “over aired”, which results in unused conditioned air being short circuited, while other areas with concentrated loads are over heating. Glumac utilizes CFD modeling, thermal imaging and engineering analysis to eliminate thermal mixing. These solutions can be as simple as relocating or removing supply air floor tiles to creating hot and cold equipment aisles and relocating process cooling equipment.

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Glumac uses Revit, as a 3D design tool, for its critical facilities design. This improves the coordination between design disciplines and minimizes error through 3D clash detection

Commissioning

Glumac has a staff of dedicated full-time commissioning agents, skilled in every aspect of data center commissioning. Glumac has commissioned several million sf of Tier I to Tier IV facilities worldwide. Our team is skilled in:
