LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER – PROJECT MANAGER
Glumac is a leading full service consulting engineering firm specializing in cost-effective sustainable design. We take particular pride in the energy efficient and sustainable building technologies that we incorporate into our projects. Our passion is engineering green buildings that work.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Shanghai, China office. In this position you will manage and execute assignments as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required, followed by fifteen (15+) years of previous experience with a consulting engineering or A/E firm as a Mechanical Engineer.
Solid experience on HVAC design systems with application in health care, higher education, central utility plant experience and large complex project types, excellent communication and coordination skills with clients.
Project Management skills including budget control and interdisciplinary coordination. Experience must include using software (such as AutoCAD, REVIT and MS Office) to perform complex calculations, proficiency in Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards, superior client facing/client relationship/client management skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
This person should have been registered as Professional Engineer (PE), LEED Accreditation is a plus.
