California’s capital is one of the sunniest cities in the state, and in our Sacramento office we make the most of it. Our LEED Platinum office features several of the sustainability design features we implement in our more than 250-LEED certified projects across the globe, including advanced daylighting techniques that allow us to capture natural light for 90% of our open office space. We also take the time to get out and enjoy it: as one of the most bike-friendly cities in the nation, there are hundreds of miles of paved bike trails, and much of our staff bikes in to work daily. We’re a close knit group who love the family-friendly atmosphere Sacramento offers, with a lot of our staff’s children attending the same schools and living in the same neighborhoods. There’s a sense of community here that creates a positive work-life balance for our staff and their families.
There’s a lot of work to be done in California. Our office here has nearly doubled in the last five years, allowing us to support our San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. Our projects range from those that focus on net-zero water and energy, large campus projects to facilities for the state and local government. Sacramento is a city of leaders, and it’s where we lead the movement for sustainability across the region.
