Clifford L. Allenby Building
Glumac is currently providing MEP engineering, energy and lighting services for the Clifford L. Allenby Building for the State of California, Department of General Services.
The O Street property is designed to meet LEED Platinum and net zero energy standards and will serve as the 12-story, 372,000-square-foot office building for the Department of Developmental Services, the Department of State Hospitals, and the California Health and Human Services Agency.
When complete, it will use 60 percent less water than similarly-sized office buildings. The building will operate using 100% solar energy through through the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). This energy program is part of a first-of-its-kind agreement with SMUD in which DGS’ Sacramento portfolio will move toward solar power.
